This series is comprised of several "photos", which upon closer examination, reveal hidden truths. In each, one can spot a reference to UFOs or supernatural phenomena.
I have always been interested in the unknown, or the misunderstood, the unexplainable and the unexplored. This series depicts a family that is unknowingly surrounded by such. Only upon examination, in retrospect, does this fictional family begin to SEE that which surrounds them.
I chose to depict vintage "family" photos, as this somehow adds to the mystery and eerie nature of the work. It also gives a wink and nod to the area 51 phenomenon, as well as a reference to Roswell.
